The National Capital Authority plans to redevelop their display at the National Capital Exhibition, Regatta Point, starting mid-2018. Roslyn Hull, who is the NCA Education and Outreach Coordinator wishes to to include some Indigenous content specific to the Canberra region in the redeveloped display and has approached the Centre regarding a temporary loan of an item or items from the Gillespie Collection. Roslyn visited the Centre on Thursday 9th November to meet with curator of our 'Stones the speak' display, Ken Heffernan, and view the Gillespie Collection. We would of course be very pleased, subject to appropriate consideration by the Representative Aboriginal Organisations, to loan items to the NCA for this purpose. The Centre will of course benefit from associated cross-promotion at a major Canberra visitor destination.
