Elliot, Mr Alexander
Alexander Elliot was the first teacher at Glenwood school from the opening in April 1883 until September 1889. Whilst in that position he was authorised to spend twenty five pound to add ten feet to the length of the building. He played for the Glenwood Cricket team and is said to have "bowled well". ln 1884 he captained the successful Ginninderra cricket team.
