Died: 1872; Married: Margaret Magarahan
William Bowyer was transported to the colony on the convict ship Claudine in 1829. At Jerrabomberra in 1844 he married Margaret Magarahan, who had arrived as a convict on the Minerva in 1839. They raised six children together.
William became a police constable at Bungendore in the late 1840s before moving to Ginninderra in 1851, where he was employed by the Palmers.
Bowyer died in May 1872.
