'Hall & District 1913' Mural

The mural that is being painted by Shaun Robson for the 'Hall & District 1913' exhibition is nearly complete. Although it is a backdrop to the display, with the amount of work that has been done on the painting,I'm sure that it will become the centrepiece.

The overall size of the mural is 22 metres long and 3 metres high painted on 6 large canvases. So it has been a huge project.

Shaun has researched old photos and the memories of members of the Hall community to gather as much information as possible to put into the painting. He has spent weeks on this project and his back and legs have just about given out.

Thanks to all who donated paint to the project together with Bunnings and Masters who also gave alot of support.
