Hall's Kyeema Gallery is hosting an exhibition of watercolour paintings - 'Hall and Beyond' - by Isla Patterson, well known Canberra artist. The Gallery was the venue for the launch of the exhibition by visitor Helen de Jonge, President of the Goulburn Art Society. Alastair Crombie gave an accompanying short talk, putting the paintings on display into a historical context.

This task was made easy by the fact that many of Isla's paintings are of well known places within the district landscape, a number of them being of early settlement buildings - The Kilby's 'Eneagh Hill', the Rule's 'Allwood', the Southwell's 'East Lynne'. and the old Jeir homestead. Isla and Helen visited the Centre recently to get a better understanding of the history of the village and district.

'Hall and Beyond' will be open Thursday to Sunday, 10.30 - 5.00 pm. until 23 September.
