'Farewell Social.
A Correspondent writes :-A pleasant gathering took place at Mr. Samuel Southwell's, 'Fair View" on Friday evening as a farewell to Miss Griffiths, teacher of Bedellick Public School, who has been removed to the Bega district. A number of friends assembled in the early part of the evening. Indoor and outdoor games were indulged in, also music and singing. At about half-past 10 all the friends sat down to a most enjoyable supper, after which games were again indulged in till about. midnight. Miss Griffiths has been teaching at the above school for over two years. During that time she has made many friends and gained the respect and esteem of all who know her. The friends wish her every success in her future residence'.
