The Gungahlin Branch of the Country Womens Association recently arrived unannounced (this is not a complaint!) to present us with a generous donation of $250. Treasurer Melissa Lee writes: "CWA Gungahlin fundraises throughout the year so that we can support local charities and organisation. We recognise the important work that you and all your volunteers do in preserving our heritage and making our history accessible to all".

A big public 'thankyou' to the CWA for finding us worthy of your valuable support. The Centre's operating budget is funded entirely from fund-raising activities of various sorts - trading table sales, our annual concert, book sales, small fees from visiting school groups - and donation boxes.

We have hosted visits from CWA groups in the past, and hope to see members of the Gungahlin Branch here again before too long.
